Handmade Ceramic Mezuzah Case “Terracotta Wall”

An original handmade ceramic mezuzah case featuring a richly textured surface inspired by traditional brickwork. The raised relief was created using an impression technique and finished with a muted terracotta-brown glaze. The raised Hebrew letter Shin is highlighted in a deep blue-green glaze, creating a distinctive contrast against the warm earthy surface.

The irregular texture, subtle speckles, and natural variations in colour and glaze reflect the handmade character of the piece. The mezuzah case was shaped, decorated, and glazed entirely by hand.

The back includes a recessed channel designed to hold the mezuzah scroll, with two mounting holes positioned at the top and bottom for installation.

This is a one-of-a-kind work.
